The Boga Grip was the original fish gripper and still remains the time-tested device for big blue water fish and barramundi. And, let's face it - you need a gripper when working with these notoriously difficult-to-handle fish. Currently, there are many other grippers on the market, but one of the best is the Pro Fish Gripper by Gillies. Unlike many of its opposition the Pro Fish Grip is very different in design. I have been using the Pro Fish Grip on barra and other fish up to 7kg and find it does agreat job holding the fish pending the removal of hook(s) and weighing.
