Brain-tumour clinical-trial endpoints: FDA public workshop

The meeting was moderated by Richard Pazdur, director of the FDA's Office of Oncology Drug Products, and consisted of a panel of 19 physicians and scientists drawn from the FDA, the National Institutes of Health, medical and academic centres, the pharmaceutical industry, and a patient advocate. The scope of this meeting, and of others in the oncology series, was to consider endpoints for clinical trials that result in regulatory approval of drugs.
