Premier's representative launches the 2004 Australian Business Awards

MR GRAHAM WEST MP, Parliamentary Secretary assisting the Treasurer, and Minister for State Development representing the Premier of NSW, Mr Bob Carr, launched the 2004 Australian Business Excellence Awards at Standards Australia's head office in Sydney on 17 July 2003. Speaking at the launch which was attended by more than 100 business executives and industry representatives, was Mr Lindsay Pears, Chief Strategist for Boeing Australia Limited, which took out the top honour in last year's Awards. Mr Pears gave an insight into Boeing Australia's approach to creating a high performing, award winning organisation and how the company applied the principles of Business Excellence to achieve outstanding results.
