Australian world-first ICT governance Standard

Just as AS 8000 Corporate Governance led the world in this important area, so the new Australian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Governance Standard is the first to be developed to meet the concerns of ICT and business managers. It is part of the AS 8000 Corporate Governance suite of Standards and draws upon AS 4360 Risk Management and other management system Standards. Following wide industry and stakeholder consultation, AS 8015 is the first in a series of Standards and companion publications being developed to provide guidelines for directors on the effective, efficient and acceptable use of Information and Communication Technology within their organisation.
