New to Ontario's ginseng custom work market in 1996 was a fumigator designed for one pass field preparation. Designed specifically for the ginseng industry, the prototype was developed and built in-house at United Agri Products' head office in Dorchester, Ontario. The front of the fumigator has eight S-tines with injector shanks attached, followed by a similarly equipped row of seven, offset from the front.
