Behavior of Epoxy Adhesive Joints under Service Conditions

摘要

The results of testing of epoxy adhesives joints for long-term strength,chatter stability,and water and heat resistance are reported.Adhesive joints used in airplane and helicopter constructions operate in the loaded state.Therefore,they must possess a high stability toward a variety of mechanical and chemicophysical factors under service conditions.However,there is little information in the literature on the behavior of adhesive joints during their working conditions.Basically,data on a change in the properties of adhesive joints during their storage under different climatic conditions in the load-free state are reported.
