摘要

A novel copper(II) complex, CuL_2 (HL = N-ethoxycarbonyl-[methoxyl-(p-nitrophenyl)amino]aldimine), derived from the desulfurization of N-(p-nitrophenyl)-N'-ethoxycarbonyl-thiourea (H_2pet) has been synthesized and crystallographically characterized. The Cu(II) atom is in a four-coordinate square planar geometry contributed by two deprotonated amine N and two carbonyl O atoms from two L groups with Cu-N and Cu-O bond lengths of 1.968(3) and 1.926(2) A, respectively. In terms of the ligand H_2pet, its structural asymmetric unit contains two crystallographically independent molecules formed by S...H hydrogen bonds.
