Polyimides. Part II. processing, functional properties and application

摘要

Processing, basic properties and the directions of applications of some kinds of polymers from polyimides (PI) group, industrially manufactures, were discussed. PI are modern products characterized with high thermal stability, good mechanical and dielectric properties as well as chemical resistance. In the review the following subject were presented: polyimide films, electroinsulating varnishes, glues and adhesives for composites, polyamide acids (PAA) powders sintering, two types of polyetherimides (PEI)-Ultem (by GE Plastics) and P-IP (by Mitsui-Toatsu), polyamideimides (PAI) and polybismaleateimides (PBMI).
