1.In February 2012, Paraguay announced the selection of Embraer's EMB-314 Super Tucano as its future combat aircraft. 2.In January 2012, Brazil and Colombia signed a defence-industrial and training agreement which included the establishment of a commission to explore the potential for bilateral collaboration in the fields of armoured vehicles, cyber security and UAVs.The two states are seeking to jointly develop a riverine patrol vessel by 2015.
