ISOLATION OF THE REGULAR PART OF A SINGULAR MATRIX PENCIL AS A RATIONAL ALGORITHM

A finite computational algorithm using arithmetic operations only is said to be rational. It is shown that the regular part of a, singular matrix pencil can be isolated by a rational algorithm. Bibliography: 1 title.
