Blogging has established itself as a significant social phenomenon in recent years, with the "blogosphere" consisting of more than 8 million bloggers, a figure that is doubling every five months. As with previous technological innovations implicating social interactions, the proliferation of blogging has posed new questions of etiquette and sometimes resulted in friction.
