(For pt.I see ibid., p.84-8, June 1989). The author continues an exploration of the kind of legal rights that might be asserted over the nondevice aspects of user interfaces and screen displays. He discusses further the difficulties and problems that protection of user interfaces and screen displays might cause. He examines good screen design, human factors analysis, conventional techniques and standards, the rapid rate of change, and keystrokes and interfaces.
