Aurostibite AuSb_2 occurs in many tens of gold deposits in Yakutia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, France, Finland, South and Central Africa, Australia, the Russian Far East, and Transbaikalia [1—9, 11—15]. Under endogenous conditions aurostibite is stable at a low sulfur fugacity within the field of pyrrhotite stability [10]. Aurostibite occurs in hydrothermal plutonogenic, volcanogenic—plutonogenic, and telethermal, sometimes volcanogenic, as well as metamorphosed, deposits. Aurostibite is a reactional mineral. In many plutonogenic and telethermal Au—Sb deposits, aurostibite is formed at the interaction of antimonic hydrotherms precipitating native antimony with native gold [9]. Aurostibite is not formed at the interaction of antimonic hydrotherms depositing antimonite or ber-thierite with gold ores. In some volcanogenic hydro-
