The Sukhoi Log giant deposit located in Late Pro-terozoic metasedimentary rocks of the Baikalo— Patomskii Highland is actively studied using isotopic— geochemical methods [1—5] including geochemistry of stable isotopes [6—10]. The deposit occurs on the core of the Sukholozhskaya anticline composed of terrigenous—carbonate rocks of the Khomolkhinskaya and Imnyakhskaya Suites of Middle—Late Riphean age [11]. The ore zone is concordant to the axial surface of the anticline and contains metasomatic vein and impregnated mineralization. Gold is mainly concentrated in quartz—pyrite veins, pockets, and lenses located in the most mineralized axial part of the anticline.
