Crusts of weathering (CW) are the initial stage of sedimentation and lithogenesis and determine the composition of sediments of close redeposition (on continents), as well as significantly influence the composition of sediments in seas and oceans. Regularities in the behavior of REE and yttrium (considered together with heavy lanthanides because of the similarity of the geochemical properties, valence, and ionic radius) in crusts of weathering and sedimentary rocks have been considered in numerous publications and summarized in special reviews and reference books (see, for example, [1]).
