摘要

The petrogenetic informativeness of zircons is determined by the data on their composition and age. The application of zircons as geochronometers is justified and confirmed by extensive positive statistics. The modern state and possibilities of application of zircon geochemistry as a genetic indicator are described in detail in [ 1 ]. The dependence of the zircon composition on its structural incompleteness most likely resulting from the metamict nature was reported as well [2].
