摘要

Quadrennial and biennial variations in water and carbon dioxide extracted under vacuum from the tree rings of the Siberian stone pine dry disc (near Tomsk) shown to be synchronous with each other and opposite in phase to quadrennial and biennial components of variations in precipitation in the dormant period from October to April, whereas the long-term variations in carbon dioxide anticorrelate with the surface temperature in the vegetation period.
