Zirconology of Clinopyroxenite of the Shigir Mountains (Ufalei Complex, Southern Urals)

The Ufalei metamorphic complex (UC) in the Southern Urals is a genotype of gneiss-migmatite complexes [1]. It is located in the frontal part of the Ufa Block of the East Europe Platform, which has contact with the structures of the folded Urals along the zone of the Main Uralian Fault in the east. This region is the area of the junction of the Bashkirian, Uraltau, and Sysert-Ilmenogorsk anticlinoriums with the Tagil and Magnitogorsk island-arc volcanic zones [1-3], which makes it of key importance for understanding the geological evolution of the entire Urals.
