Visando oferecer controle mais efetivo da mosca branca,Bemisia argentifolii Bellows & Perring, foram testadas seisestratégias de uso de agroquímicos. A produtividade também n?o foiafetada no híbrido Heinz-2710, porém, com Gem Pride amaior produtividade (93,8 t/ha) foi alcan?ada com aestratégia 2, que diferiu apenas da estratégia 1. No híbridoHeinz-2710, a rela??o custo/benefício variou de R$ 1,11(estratégia 2) a R$ 1,38 (estratégia 4), e com Gem Pride avaria??o foi de R$ 1,74 (estratégia 1) a R$ 3,33 (estratégia2), indicando que há maior retorno financeiro com o híbridoGem Pride (estratégia 2), em rela??o ao Heinz-2710(estratégia 4). A rela??o custo/benefício obtida com asestratégias sugeridas pela pesquisa mostraram-se maisvantajosas em rela??o à utilizada pelos produtores erecomendada pela indústria. No entanto, a recomenda??odessas estratégias para os produtores fica condicionadaà obrigatoriedade do registro dos agroquímicos para acultura do tomate. AGROCHEMICALS STRATEGIES EVALUATION TO CONTROL Bemisiaargentifolii Bellows & Perring (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) ON TOMATO Abstract With the objective of offering more effect control to whitefly, Bemisia argentifoliiBelows & Perring, six strategies were carried out by using agrochemicals. One takenfrom the farmer (1) four taken from the research (2, 3, 4 and 5) and one taken from theindustry (6). Tomato Heinz-2710 and Gem Pride hybrids were used, both susceptibleand geminivirus-resistant, respectively. The percentage of tomato fruits with irregularripening, oBrix and acidity were not affected by whiteflies infestation among thestrategies. Productivity was not also affected on Heinz-2710 hybrid, even so on Gem Pride hybrid the largest productivity (93,8 t/ha) was achieved for strategy 2, whichjust differed from strategy 1. On Heinz-2710 hybrid the cost-benefit values varied fromR$ 1,11 (strategy 2) to R$ 1,38 (strategy 4) while on Gem Pride hybrid the variationwas between R$ 1,74 (strategy 1) and R$ 3,33 (strategy 2), indicating that there wasa larger financial profit on Gem Pride (strategy 2) hybrid as compared to Heinz-2710hybrid (strategy 4). For the best strategies, the following agrochemicals were used:strategy 2 (Imidacloprid; Acephate + adhesive spreading agent; Methamidophos +thiamethoxam + adhesive spreading agent; Acephate + buprofezin + adhesive spreadingagent; Fenpropathrin + methamidophos + adhesive spreading agent; Acephate +buprofezin + adhesive spreading agent; Deltamethrin + triazophos + adhesive spreadingagent; Lambdacyalothrin + pyriproxifen + adhesive spreading agent; Deltamethrin +triazophos + adhesive spreading agent; Lambdacyalothrin + pyriproxifen + adhesivespreading agent; neutral detergent); strategy 4 (Thiamethoxam; Acephate +thiamethoxam + adhesive spreading agent; Acephate + buprofezin + adhesive spreadingagent; Fenpropathrin + methamidophos + adhesive spreading agent; Buprofezin +methamidophos + adhesive spreading agent; Acephate + fenpropathrin + adhesivespreading agent; Lambdacyalothrin + pyriproxifen + adhesive spreading agent;Deltamethrin + triazophos + adhesive spreading agent; Lambdacyalothrin + pyriproxifen+ adhesive spreading agent; Deltamethrin + triazophos + adhesive spreading agent;neutral detergent). However, a recommendation of these strategies to the farmers hasbeen conditioned to agrochemicals registration mandatory for tomato crops.
