摘要

In this paper a fast and efficient maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control scheme for PEM fuelcells is proposed which is based on sliding mode control approach. The closed loop system includesthe PEM fuel cell, boost chopper, battery and sliding mode controller. Sliding mode controller is usedto control the duty cycle of the chopper in order to achieve MPPT. The characteristics of the approachare its good transition response, low tracking error, very fast system reaction against set point, fuel celltemperature and membrane water content, robustness as well as low complexity. The performance andaccuracy of the proposed algorithm has been investigated in different situations and compared withPerturb and Observe algorithm.
