Digga screw anchor drives are fitted with a patented Pile Anti Kickback Valve that controls the rapid decompression of oil that occurs during the installation of piles. An extensive range of drives is available with output torques from 5,000 to 365,000 Ib.-ft. A company-manufactured planetary gearbox features volumetrically efficient motors with pressure relief valves fitted as standard. The two-piece shaft design has a lock-nut bearing retention and preload design, isolating gears from the pushing, pulling, and bending forces generated by the machine, Digga says. Ancillary equipment, including machine mounts, specialized piling cradles, torque-measuring equipment, and pile alignment devices is available.
