Wirtgen's SP 80i can be configured as a two-track (SP 82i) or four-track (SP 84i) inset paver and as a three-track (four optional) offset machine. A modular inset-mold system permits paving with a central crown from 12 to 26 feet wide. Plow or auger spreading is available, and the paver can use up to 24 electric or hydraulic vibrators. The SP 80i, available with the company's dowel- and tie-bar inserters, finishing beam, and super smoother, features Wirtgen's intelligent ("i") power and emissions system.
