With additional damping control,a converter-based power source can provide damping for power grid and suppress the system's low-frequency oscillation. However,if the additional damping control coefficient is too large, then the converter will become unstable. To solve this problem,an additional damping control is introduced to the novel high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission. On this basis,a small signal model of the system is established. Us?ing the root locus,the mechanism of the influence of the too large additional damping control coefficient on the system' s stability is explained,and the calculation method for the control parameters of the system's maximum damping is fur?ther given. Finally,software PSCAD is used to perform simulations,and simulation results verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis and calculation.%变流器型电源可附加阻尼控制,为电网提供阻尼、抑制系统低频振荡,然而附加阻尼控制系数过大会引起变流器不稳定.针对这一问题,本文在新型高压直流输电中引入附加阻尼控制的基础上,建立了系统小信号模型;阐明了利用根轨迹附加阻尼控制系数过大影响系统稳定性的机理;进而给出了系统最大阻尼时控制参数的计算方法.最后利用PSCAD软件进行了仿真,仿真结果验证理论分析与计算的正确性.
