自适应热金属码红外测量图像伪彩色编码方法

         

摘要

Due to the poor contrast and uneven gray scales of infrared measurement images,the pseudo-color images generated by traditional hot metal coding which employs fixed interval mapping are often unable to reflect the practical temperature. In order to solve the problem,this paper makes improvement to the traditional hot metal coding according to the gray scale distribution,realizes adaptive selecting of gray scale intervals by means of Otsu method and proposes an adaptive hot metal code pseudo-color coding method for infrared measurement images. The experiment results show that the proposed method is fairly adaptive and the pseudo-color images generating by it can truly reflect the temperature gradations.%由于红外测量图像的对比度较差,灰度分布不均衡,而传统热金属编码采用固定灰度区间映射,导致生成的伪彩色图像往往不能真实地反映物体的温度变化.针对此问题,本文根据红外测量图像的灰度分布特性,对传统热金属编码进行改造.同时,利用最大类间法,实现了灰度变换区间的自适应选择,提出了一种红外测量图像自适应热金属伪彩色编码方法.实验结果表明:该方法变换的伪彩色图像能够真实地反映物体的温度变化,且具有较好的自适应性.
