基于正弦灰度变换的红外图像增强算法

         

摘要

针对红外图像的特点,提出了一种基于正弦灰度变换的红外图像增强算法.采用二个拐点,将整个图像按灰度的大小分为三个区:背景区、目标区和过渡区,针对不同区域采取不同的灰度映射变换.灰度伸缩采用正弦函数,其导数是光滑的,灰度伸缩性能好.伸缩的拐点及伸缩强度参数独立可调,通用性强,计算简单.实验结果验证了算法的有效性.%According to the characteristics of the infrared images,an image enhancement algorithm based on sine gray level transformation is proposed. The whole image is divided into three areas according to the size of gray level with two inflection points and the three areas are background area,target area and transition area. Different gray level mapping transformation is applied to different areas. A sine function is adopted for the gray level stretching whose derivative is smooth and its gray level scalability is good. The inflection points of stretching and the parameters of stretching intensity are independently adjustable. The algorithm is also versatile and simple. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
