Language defines the development of human spirit. It also overtly demonstrates national spirit. By contrasting the same signifiers with their corresponding signified in different languages, it maps its cor-responding national spirit. That is to say: the iconicity between the linguistic images and the real world images implies the dissimilarity between the cultural differences implied by vocabulary semantemes in dif-ferent languages. It goes like this: different geografical locations’ different climates’ different life styles’ different cultures’ different ideological attitudes’ different cultural images.
