“小说式戏剧”与“戏剧式小说”--《茶馆》与《呼兰河传》比较谈

老舍的《茶馆》与萧红的《呼兰河传》都打破了文体的陈规，老舍以小说的方法写戏剧，萧红以戏剧的方法写小说，他们因此相交融，竟有了异曲同工之妙。他们写“类型人物”的深刻寓意，达到了戏剧的“间离”效果与思索品格，从而创造了喜剧、闹剧、悲剧、正剧“四合一”的精品。%Both Lao She’s Teahouse and Xiao Hong’s Tales of Hulan River have broken the stylistic stereotypes in that Lao She handled drama in a novel-writing manner while Xiao Hong approached novels in a drama style,thus having blended with each other and obtained equally successful results despite their different approaches in writing.Thanks to the profound implication of their “type characters”,they have attained the effect of “alienation”and contemplation in their literary creation,thereby having written“four-in-one”quality works integrating comedy,farce,tragedy and serious drama.
