RQI. SSI and SFC) of asphalt pavement performance were considered. By using the advantages of catastrophe theory over the multiple criteria decision, the disadvantages of the subjective evaluation was solved, and the real performance of the pavement can be more accurately reflected. At first, the base index should be normalized, and then the normalized formula was used to calculate the PQI, which is used to evaluate the performance of the asphalt pavement. The method has been proved feasible and reliable by examples, and will provide a new way for the asphalt pavement performance evaluation.
