his article elaborates one engineering practiced method of using economical CNC system to transformation the old lathe. After selecting of NC system, configurating, parameter setting, control circuit designing, and designing of mechanical parts including the feed system, spindle system, and turret. Connecting mechanical and electrical parts to debug and test the function and performance of machine tools and the cutting precision.%研究了一种利用经济型数控系统对普通车床进行数控化改造的工程实践方法.对数控系统的选型、配置、参数设置及控制电路、机械部分进行了改造设计和机电联调,测试改造后机床的功能和性能,并进行了切削精度检验.
