For verifying the effectiveness of the methods, an experimental test system of measuring claw-pole generator torque was presented, and the test system was a good simulation of the generator working environment. Since the limitation of sampling frequency of the sensor, the test motor operated at low-speed state. Finally, the torque measurement data were analyzed aimed at the claw-pole generator with slotting and side shearing claw pole structures. It showed that the exciting force wave, torque ripple was significantly reduced, respectively. The theory had been well verified.
