Perceptions of Chinese EFL Learners on Communication Diffculties and Communicative Strategies in Use in the Australian Context
<正> 1. Introduction and background This paper reports on the results of an investigation intothe perceptions held by a group of Chinese EFL learners, whocurrently studying in Australian tertiary institutions, oncommunication difficulties and communicative strategies theyhave employed in Australian academic and casual contexts. Theaim of the study is to present a Chinese perspective of the issuebeing investigated. In particular, the significance of teachingcommunicative strategies to Chinese learners of English isproposed.
