The conceptions of generalized left derivation and generalized derivation are opplied, and the superstability of generalized left derivations and generalized derivations on a unital Banach algebra are discussed. Based on these, some results of the linear properties of generalized left derivations and generalized derivations are given. The results obtained in this note generalize the related results given by S.-Y. Kang and I.-S.
