摘要

Telemedicine is a major new development and has great potential for improving health care delivery. Certain telemedicine applications - for example teleradiology - have become major commercial successes. This paper addresses the current status of teleradiology in United Kingdom. Having become technically and economically feasible, telemedicine, especially teleradiology, now deserves proper investigation in China.
