Balascopy-based General Systems Technology operationally identified all possible typesrnof systems-specific relational asymmetries or imbalances as seven types of relationalrninvariants: Normal Relons (N.), Adaptive Relons (A.), Plain Disintegrated Reloms (D.),rnPlain Integrated Reloms (I.) , Plain Inverted Reloms (Ni) , Inverted Disintegrated Relomsrn(Di) , Inverted Integrated Reloms (Ii).rnEmpirical study of the systems-specific changes in highly complex natural system ofrnbiochemical processes in the human body at different pathological conditions reveals thatrnthe spread of imbalances through the metabolic system as well as their dynamical changesrnfrom one type of Relons or Reloms to another type are neither random nor chaotic butrnnomogenetic in nature.rnTheir trajectories can only go through a hierarchy of two strict directional pathways: Nonlinearrnpathway - N. can go to A., and A. can go to I. or to D. or back to N.;rnLinear pathway - D. ? N. ? I. ? Ii ? Ni ? Di.rnThe identification of two strict directional pathways of systems imbalances allowed arndeeper understanding of systems dynamics by precise tracking of systems imbalances andrnassessment of severity and extent of systems dysfunction.
