Prolonged Drug Release from a Novel Gel Formulation Composed of Drug Containing Catanionic Vesicles and Oppositely Charged Hydrophobically Modified Polymer, Intended for e.g. Transdermal Applications

Gel formation was observed in mixtures of catanionic vesicles and oppositely charged, hydrophobically modified polymers. Drug release from these novel gels could be substantially prolonged.
