Aminopeptidase N (APN) is an enzyme which preferentially cleaves peptides withneutral residues at N-terminus.This peptidase has attracted many interests as an importantbiomarker of cancers because of its relationship with malignancy,metastasis andangiogenesis.However,APN-activity detection in deep areas has not been achievedalthough several kinds of fluorescent and luminescent probes have been developed to date.1
