A method for measuring the concentrations of Arsenic (As) in groundwater Used Inductively Coupled Plasma-Sector Field Mass Spectrometry (ICP-SFMS) was to optimize in this work. Method 3015 A was used for removal of organic matter on water samples. The results obtained shown than levels of As are higher at those permitted by Mexican Official Standard NOM-127-SSA1 -1994 in 4 wells with groundwater of a total of 25 wells and according by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and World Health Organization (WHO), the wells with concentrations higher of 0.01 mg L~(-1) were 244. The proposed method is fast and ideal for measuring As in groundwater.
