HEAVY METALS ACCUMULATION BY AGRICULTURAL CROPS GROWN ON VARIOUS TYPES OF SOIL IN POLESSJE ZONE OF UKRAINE

Environmental contamination with technogenic pollutants of different chemical origin became the actual problem of the recent century. Numerous studies carried out in various countries characterised by different soil-and-climatic conditions allowed to estimate the principal properties of pollutants, their danger for nature and human being. Estimation of pollutants toxicity promoted to elaborate approaches to standardisation of toxic substances content in biocenotic components for safe human living. But regional peculiarities of soil cover and climate, technogenic loading to ecosystems require additional studies of toxicants migration ways in food chains. Ukraine is characterised by multiplicity of landscapes and soils, created on various rock-beddings. Due to several reasons the natural content of elements in soils and other components of ecosystems varies in a wide range.
