VIH Populations Resistance Simulated by a Genetic Algorithm

A genetic algorithm based on Kamp cellular automaton has been developed to replicate VIH viral resistance, obtaining results that indicate that human populations may resist VIH viral infection for high and low genetic variability scenarios. As long as recent results predict the emergence of multi-drug resistant forms of HIV in infected individuals, this ability of the populations to produce immunity to HIV indicates the convenience to identify the concrete ways in which this immunity is given.
