摘要

The sandy and coarse sand areas in the middle reach of the Yellow River are the key ecological construction regions for water and soil conservation. Kuyehe River Basin, a tributary of the Yellow River, covers the biggest area of the region where water and soil loss is most severe, with most coarse sediments produced. Based on the study and analysis to the natural condition, social economy, characteristics of water and soil loss as well as water and soil conservation measures, this paper comes up with ecological construction approach and measures for water and soil conservation of different types of regions. This will make sense for the control and correction of the sandy and coarse sand areas on the middle reach of the Yellow River.
