The Gas Resource in Tight Sandstone in Sichuan Basin

There is a great deal of gas reserve in conventional and unconventional traps in Upper Triassic and Jurassic clastic sediments with a tremendous thickness in the west part of Sichuan basin, forming a special tight sandstone gas-bearing territory. Through a primary exploration t it is shown that a group of gas reservoirs horizontally extending and vertically overlapping reliably exists and an abnormally high pressure zone occurs in a wide scope. As this terriory is located in Chengdu Plain where the agriculture and industry is well developed> intensifying exploration and exploiration of natural gas will have practical economic meaning.
