Based on the basic theory of soil nonlinear numerical simulation, developing a suitable Macro documents for large-scale calculation software ANSYS and taking measures that the parameter Et of Duncan-zhang nonlinear constitutive model was modified under the gradual load, a method about the modification of the nonlinear constitutive model of soil and the characteristics analysis of soil layer were established. Test results of triaxial tests of the cohesive soil showed that: to some common soil nonlinear constitutive model, when it was applied in the concrete soil layer, there were some inadaptation and inconformity. But if the modification of soil nonlinear constitutive model was used, the rationality and the effectiveness was improved that classical constitutive model was applied to the concrete soil layer for nonlinear analysis. Therefore the deformation characteristics analysis of soil and the calculation accuracy of interaction analysis of soil and adjacent structures were promoted.
