摘要

Micro-grids are small scale power systems used to supply electric power to the small communities. They can achieve specific advantages to their consumers like reliability, cost reduction, emission reduction, and the use of renewable sources. This paper presents the application of a crow search algorithm for the solution of combined economic emission dispatch problem of an isolated renewable integrated micro-grid. To study the performance of the proposed algorithm, four scenarios with different combinations of traditional and renewable power generation sources are proposed. A comparison with available algorithms is carried out. The comparison proves the efficiency of the proposed algorithm over the reported algorithms.
