It is well known that Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt has been used widely in road projects since it was introduced into China eight years ago. The SBS modified asphalt pavement has gradually entered the maintenance phase. The applied technology of recycling unmodified asphalt pavement is mature, but that of recycling SBS modified asphalt pavement has just begun. In order to study the recycled SBS modified asphalt mixture (RMAM), the reclaimed modified asphalt pavement (RMAP) is used from the Shen-Shan Freeway which was built in 2008. The performance tests for two kinds of modified asphalt mixture, LAC-20I and SMA-16 are carried out. The results showed that the RMAM can not only meet the specification requirements, but also meet the asphalt pavement design index. It will be meaningful for related research on RMAM, and have the economic and practical values.
