As the highest cost and most time consuming link, green transportation plays an important role in green logistics activities. According to the "3R" rule of green logistics, this article proposes the concept of the green degree of a transportation system and establishes an evaluation indicator system of green transportation. The weight of each evaluation indicator is set by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Based on this analysis, a comprehensive evaluation of the green degree of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration transportation system was made using the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method. Insightful comments on improving the green degree of the transportation system in this area also are provided.
