Digital Particle Image Velocimetry(DPIV) is developing rapidly in recent years as a transient flow measurement technology, has gradually become one of the leading methods in river model surface velocity measurement. The key problem of analyzing flow velocity field accurately is post-processing of DPIV data. The errors of the measurement data by DPIV are eliminated by the basic law of water movement. By the tool of MATLAB, we can obtain the whole flow velocity field with interpolation of the discrete data points by using the continuity equation of fluid, Kriging interpolation methods and so on. Finally, the streamlines, velocity isolines and vortex isolines are plot by the theory of hydraulic computation.
