To setup the multi-discipline digital design in the uniform platform, this paper proposed to build the interoperability architecture between CAD platform and the other digital platforms for designers. Because of the difference of the discipline and the digital platform belong to the same discipline, the hierarchy of shared ontology and local ontology is designed. The shared ontology describes the interoperability set of special discipline. The local ontology describes the interoperability of the special platform in a certain discipline. The function ontology was encapsulated by the OWL-S (Ontology web language-Service) and the data ontology was encapsulated by the XSD and XML. The XSLT technology was used to implement the transformation between the shared ontology and local ontology. This method to implement the interoperability can be used to on the interoperability between the other digital platforms.
