This is an embedded-framework lime-flyash macadam mixture, which depends on vibrating rolling for its effective compaction. This mixture, whose composition is different from the usualpracticeingrading andmethod, enjoys very good performance. Jilin Province is located in the cold north-east part of China, where cracking is one of the major factors affecting the the lifetime of bituminous pavements.
