Abstract: The survey of main trends in holographic study of thesurface shape for diffusely reflective objects is madein the paper. These methods are the basis for thedifferent methods for direct contour mapping ofdeviation in shape of the object under study from themaster one. The description and comparison of thesemethods and technique is done in the paper. Thedependence of the resulting contour map contrast on theshift of the speckle fields of object and referencewave between the exposures is calculated. !45
