Comparative proteomics was used to identify specific expressed proteins of roots of Triticum aestivum L under different plant population. Proteins extracted from roots were separated using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Over 800 protein spots could be observed in the two-dimensional gels. The patterns of the gels were similar between the test and the control . Among the differential expressed proteins, RuBP ribulose-1 ,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase small subunit was identified by searching the PMF with Mscot online software. The protein likely play a crucial role in keeping the function of the chloroplast and the whole cells when the plant ; surviving through hungry.
